  • What operating system will it work on?

    For the App, iOS & Android

    For SRN Lite, as this is web based, it will work on all supported operating systems.

  • What devices will it work on?

    You name it, we currently have organisations on variations of phones & tablets for brands including Samsung, Apple, Google, oh and that one no one can pronounce (Huawei), Lenovo - Our record holding device is a first generation 2011 iPad, but please don't try to beat that.

  • How can I get the app?

    All the usual places Google Play Store, App Store - once you have downloaded it you will need to contact us to set up a 'test account' so you can have a go & see what it does…. If you like that we can move on to setting up a three month paid trial for up to 6 field based operatives... If you like that, then we are officially a match and we can progress to roll out.

  • How much does it cost?

    The app is £25 per month per app, but don't go just yet! So far our customers reckon they save £450 per annum per app in fuel alone. So you get to have your cake and eat it.

  • Can I configure it with my own stock lists?

    You can, or if you want some help we have a vast database of products for most trades that might be of help to get you started.

  • Where does it send my replenishment orders?

    Wherever you want - Yourself, Your Head Office, The Boss, Your Chosen Suppliers (best for speedy replenishment) - you decide & we configure. Everyone is different or has their own requirements, and we can tailor to suit your needs.

  • Do I have to have other systems or will it work on its own?

    It will work on its own if you have a static stock list & don't need it to interface with other systems. However, if you want to manage your own apps, add users, add stock images, add appointments etc. then you would be best to use it in conjunction with Stock Right Now Lite. Stock Right Now Lite is a web based portal where you can manage all those things yourself, and configure your users & stock database to suit your specific needs. 

  • Will it interface with other systems if I want it to?

    Yes it can, and we have used it to interface with all repairs, finance and stock systems if needed. Interfaces will cost a 'one off' extra for creating & testing.

  • Can I white label it so it looks like my brand?

    Yes this is possible, but there would be a small development charge as well as a monthly white labelling fee.

  • Is there a contract and if so for how long?

    Contracts are soooo Booooooring! We tend not to have them, you see our view is 'why make customers stay with you contractually'? We'd much rather you stayed with us because you liked us and what our software does, and that it adds value to you. Some customers insist & reluctantly we agree, but usually we ask our clients to pay 4 months in advance which then acts as a notice period should you want to leave. Just as an aside.... no one has left us, Ever.

  • How do I pay for it?

    However you like!

  • How long does it take to set up?

    If you have the time and ideally a database we can usually have something up and running to trial in 4-5 days.

  • Will I get visibility and a report of what's on my van(s)?

    You will get full visibility & full control of absolutely everything to do with your stock / van stocks.

  • Will I get control and a report of what's been used where?

    If you book materials to your specific jobs, then we can provide full job costing

  • How does it improve my first visit fix rate?

    You tell the app what you used from your van to fix things (this tells your suppliers what you need back). You also need to tell it what you need to fix things that you haven't got (this tells your suppliers to order it / have it ready for you) In the background some very clever jiggery pokery knits all that data together, to come up with a 'should have' on your van figure. The system then works out what you need to have on your van and in what quantities. First time fix rates will increase significantly, but mysteriously you'll do it with around 50% less stock holding. What's not to like?

  • Does it work offline / in poor signal areas?

    It works even in airplane mode. Carry on using it without signal, and as soon as signal becomes available is transmits everything you have been doing.

  • What if I search for an item by a different name that's listed?

    That depends on the detail of the initial set up. If you have  two plumbers and one spells Donut Washer like this, but one spells Doughnut washer like that, both plumbers will be able to find it. When parts are set up, there is a section for 'also known as' to which you can add as many different spellings and names as you like.

  • Can I see my previous orders?

    Yes, everything you have ever ordered is visible in your order history. Depending on your set up, you also have the ability to see whether your orders are awaiting delivery, partially delivered or fully delivered.
